Finding the Fun in Fiesta.

I have to admit I like the idea of Fiesta:

But the reality of crowds, confetti eggs, flood lights and Cazadores girls just about sends me into a dissociative coma. I'm super into this:

Rick Sharp

And maybe less into this:

SO! I went to my first BIKE MOVES!  The theme of the evening was "Bull Moves". Check us out!

Never one to plan ahead,  on Thursday afternoon I was frantically looking for some sort of White Bottoms (welcome gay men who were just directed to my blog) for my costume and turned into The Territory Ahead Outlet. I really did find their clothes "rustic, yet refined" and I might start shopping there.  It really  appealed to the softball coach in me. I mean, check out this killer turtle neck:
You could pair it with these shorts for the Indigo Girls concert:
(I love the Indigo Girls)

While it was hard to find anything smaller than a size 14, I did find a pretty white skirt that I'll never wear again and spent too much money on because I was in "find good costume at any price" mode, which now has grease stains all over it. And wine stains. And some other weird stains.

Well it was fun, although I didn't actually socialize with anyone I didn't already know. These girls looked cool. Hey girls-- if you read this, let's hang out.

I'm not always so good with humans, so Carl and I got along swimmingly:

We rode down to the end of the pier and some dudes played Bike Samurai, which was like this but on bikes:
I really wanted to play, but I have an unnatural fear of getting my teeth knocked out. Maybe next time I'll bring my mouth guard and really kick some ass.

Well, I probably won't, but I'll talk about doing it a lot.

  1. You are hilarious. And love the Indigo Girls shorts. Yes, I've been to an IG concert...and those are the real deal. :)
